1. Introduction

AGC Consulting, LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates Crop Yield ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Service.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

We collect only what is needed to operate the current launch feature set:

  • Account and profile data (email, optional name) for authentication and support.
  • Optional phone number and SMS consent records for users who separately and explicitly opt in to SMS price alerts. Phone collection and SMS opt-in are optional, and consent is not a condition of purchase, account creation, or use. Adding a phone number to your account alone is not SMS consent.
  • County and state, used for regional context and elevator lookup.
  • Farm and crop inputs you enter (acres, crop type, notes).
  • Saved elevator selection and basis, and break-even inputs.
  • Grain sale records you enter.
  • In-app price alert settings.
  • Optional product-guide chat messages and feedback when you choose to use in-app chat.
  • Payment handling metadata via Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Explicit pageview, pageleave, and named product events, plus error and performance diagnostics.

PostHog session recording and automatic element capture are disabled. Sentry Session Replay is disabled. Only explicit pageview/pageleave/product events plus error and performance diagnostics remain.

3. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not use your data for targeted advertising or retargeting.
  • We do not share your farm data, grain sales, or financial information with other users.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
  • Authentication and database access controls are provided by Supabase, including row-level access controls so each user can access only their own data.
  • Server-side secrets are held only in backend environments, never in the browser.
  • Stripe handles card data. We do not store full card numbers.
  • We take reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, though no online service can be guaranteed absolutely secure.

6. SMS Communications

Crop Yield operates an optional SMS price alerts program delivered via Twilio from +1 (712) 545-5420. SMS is available only to users who separately and explicitly opt in. Adding a phone number to your account alone is not SMS consent. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase, account creation, or use.

Message frequency varies by your alert settings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Mobile information, including SMS opt-in data and consent, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our SMS Terms.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

  • We use essential storage for authentication sessions.
  • We use first-party analytics identifiers to attribute explicit product events.
  • We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

8. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, portability, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@cropyieldai.com. Requests are subject to applicable law and to required payment, security, fraud-prevention, and backup retention.

For California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

For EU/EEA residents (GDPR): Our legal basis for processing is contract performance and legitimate interest in operating and improving the Service. You may request data portability or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Data Retention

We retain account and application data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations (including tax and payment records), resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain reasonable backups. Deletion requests are honored subject to those constraints.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
